Dr. Seo obtained her Diploma (Magna Cum Laude) in Physics from the Dong-A University in 2001. She started her research in the laboratory of Professor Chung Nam Whang at the Yonsei University and received Ph.D. degree in Physics in 2007. Dr. Seo joined the reserach groups of Professor Guillermo C. Bazan, Thuc-Quyen Nguyen and Alan J. Heeger (Nobel Laureate) in the CPOS (Center for Polymers and Organic Solids) at the University California Santa Barbara as a post-doctoral researcher.

Dr. Seo is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Materials Physics at the Dong-A University.
