동양 에서는 화약을 먼저 발견하였지만 그것을 살상용 무기로 발전시키지 않았습니다. 기원전 7C 부터 화폐를 사용하였지만 동양에서는 그것을 상인문명으로 발전시키지 않았습니다. 그럼에도, 중국과 한국에서는 동일한 문명을 2500년 이상 지켜오고 있습니다.
역사상 많은 문명이 사라졌지만, 동양에서는 문명 소멸의 위험을 처음부터 억제해온 지혜를 가졌던 것입니다.20세기에 들어와서 인류는 과학기술의 눈부신 발전과 엄청난 경제적 생산력을 가졌습니다. 그러나 새로운 위험, 문명의 소멸이라는 새로운 위험을 맞고 있습니다.
Orient Renaissance는 서구 합리주의에 묻혀온 동양의 지혜를 되살려서 새로운 문명을 창조하려는 것입니다. Internet으로 동양의 문명을 전세계에 소개하고, 그 속에서 21세기의 비전을 제시하려고 하고있습니다.

In the Orient, gunpowder had been found out for the first time in human history but was used not for weapon. Form B.C. 7c money had come to use in the Orient, but 'monetary merchant civilization' was not evolved. Contrary to many civilizations risen and downed in history, Korea and China preserve the same civilizations more than 2,500years.
Since the dawn of the 20th century, humanity have accumulated brilliant scientific technologies and immense industrial productivity. However, they face a new danger, the annihilation of civilization.
That is, we have to learn the wisdom of the Orient that restrained dangers driving civilizations into perishment.
The Orient Renaissance, our web page, tries to revive the wisdom of the Orient that has been overshadowed by the western rationalism and to create a new civilization. It introduces the Orient civilization to the people in the world and attempts to find a vision of the 21st century throughout Internet.
