기능성 식품학 연구실 (Lab. of Functional Food)

식품 기능학 연구실에서는 고지혈증 및 지방간의 발생기작을 구명하고, 이를 바탕으로 이러한 질환들을 예방하고 개선할수 있는 천연 생리활성물질을 탐색하여 기능성 재료를 발굴하며 이것들을 이용하여 기능성 식품을 제조하여 in vitro, in vivo에서 가능성을 검토한다. 뿐만 아니라 생체내에서 생활습관병과 관련된 지질과산화물 생성을 억제 시킬 수 있는 천연 항산화물의 탐색하고 유용미생물을 분리 및 탐색하여 이들을 이용한 환경 및 식품산업 및 화장품산업에 응용될수 있는 연구를 수행하고 있다.
